DESCRIPTION:
German, Komet, Circa 1895, 8" disc music box, center drive.
CONDITION:
walnut veneered box in fair condition has a warped and cracked top and bottom with loss to the brand inlay on the lid. Comb is intact. There is no key with this box, so we are unable to verify the spring is good, but Dr. Newman felt sure it was playing in the past. Fourteen discs are included, although some have surface rust. Sold as-is. Key is a slotted tube with a handle on the end, simple enough to make. Includes "O Tannenbaum" and some other recognizeable tunes. Ht 7"
